DJI Avata
The DJI Avata with Motion Controller is probably the easiest way to get airborne. The motion controller is extremely intuitive and if you want to stop in an emergency, you can just release the trigger or press the "Brake" button. It will brake even if you're still holding the trigger. The video quality is 4K and the video in your goggles is 1080p, so it's like watching HD movies. Also, the batteries are "smart" where you can charge and then they safely discharge when not in use to it's "storage" charge. Easy for the "weekend flyer" that just wants to carve. And if you want to do flips and loops, you can get the "Stick Controller" and it can do that.

This drone is so smooth and quiet. Ideal for inside the house and playing. It's extremely lightweight. I can get about 2-3 minutes flight time of carving around inside my house on a 1S battery.

My first digital fpv drone
Purchased as a gift to me on the day I passed my FAA Part 107 because I was happy for passing, but irritated that I had zero drones to fly and the two other drones I had ordered a week prior had not arrived!!! HAHAHA!!! It's another fun flying toy with a great video camera. The sensors on the drone saved me from a water landing!!! 024 is the replacement of 003 that DJI Care Refresh sent to me.

Radiomaster TX16s Mk 2 4-in-1
I have a TX16S MK2 with 4in1 internal protocol. I recommend the 4in1 because you can buy an external module for TBS CrossFire and/or ELRS. External ELRS modules will be able to output more power (1 watt) versus the internal ELRS module (250 mW). I like the TBS Crossfire protocol.
Installed are the Lumenier Edition AG01 Gimbals! They feel so much better than the Hall Gimbals(Which are still functional). Plus, I wanted a Navy Blue & Gold TX16S! GO NAVY!!!!

How to Pass the FAA Part 107:
I bought a course because I did not want to research where to find the free stuff. With a course, all of the information is one spot: Material, study guide, flash cards, and practice tests. Basically, I paid for the convenience which is important to me. I recommend getting one that guarantees a passing grade or your money back AND they pay for the retest.
On studying: Take as many Practice Tests as possible, but do it as if you were taking the test... you know, practice how you will compete. Time yourself, no interruptions, no breaks. Print the AKTS and use that... Get familiar with each page so you at least know what is in there. Review the Legend; Sometimes the answer is there. You'll get to a point where you can answer a question without having to look at the chart... But look at the chart still. Pencil, one page of scrap, and your glasses or magnifiers to see the details on the chart.
Some "sections" are weighted more than others, the course that you get will outline that.
